WE DON'T WANT
ANYONE TO STAY AT
HOME ON HOLIDAY
At Hotel El Palmeral we know that your pets are part of your family, so we welcome them in our facilities.
Remember that to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, there are certain rules you must follow, such as not leaving your pet alone if it is noisy and not allowing it to climb on beds or furniture in the room.
Some of the basic rules of coexistence are as follows:
- Always keep your pet on a leash when leaving and entering the hotel.
- If the animal is in the habit of climbing on the bed or chairs, protect the furniture with a sheet of your own.
- Have acceptable levels of hygiene, as well as up-to-date health certifications and vaccinations.

PET POLICY
Dear guests,
At Hotel El Palmeral we are glad to welcome you with your pet. We understand that they are a part of the family and we hope that both you and your pet enjoy your stay here with us
To maintain the coexistence with the rest of our guests, we request of the pet owners to follow these rules:
There is a supplement of €9.00 per night per pet (VAT included) for your pet's accommodation in the room, with a limit of 2 pets per room.
Dogs and/or cats will be considered as pets for the hotel. Admittance of any other kind of pet is not guaranteed. For the lodging of any other kind of pets it is compulsory to contact the hotel in advance and they will be admitted or not in a case-by-case basis.
For the stay of the pet in the hotel, it is compulsory that upon check-in the pet owner vouches that they have their pet’s up-to-date insurance policy and their vaccination card as per Spanish law. It is also a requirement that the pet maintains a standard of cleanliness at all times.
In case that, upon arrival at the hotel any of the conditions for the admittance of the pet are not met and the reservation has to be cancelled because the pet cannot be admitted, this would not exempt from any cancellation fees that may be owed according to the cancellation policy of the reservation.
To maintain the good coexistence with others during your stay, it is compulsory that there is no barking, wailing and/or meowing. In case of complains because of any such instances or behaviours that cause an alteration in the order and tranquillity of the Hotel, the owner of the pet will have to leave the Hotel and the remaining nights or services of their stay will not be reimbursed.
To enjoy the hotel’s premises, the pet must always be on a leash (and muzzle if necessary) or in an approved carrier. It is strictly forbidden for the pets to walk around the premises (both inside and outside areas of the hotel) without a leash.
When in the company of their pets, guests are forbidden from entering the restaurant, dinning hall, bar area, swimming-pool or gym. Room clothes (towels and or bed clothes) must never be used by the pet. Do not allow the pet to climb on to the beds, chairs, etc. If the pet is used to doing so, we request that the owner protects our furniture with a sheet of their own.
At all times the owner is responsible of their pet and of its behaviour. Any damage caused by the pet to third parties, furniture, equipment and facilities is its owner’s responsibility. The owner will have to take care of the corresponding compensations or expenses for the repairs, including cleaning out of the usual processes of the Hotel.
Remember that the room will not be cleaned while the pet is inside. When the pet is not in the room, please let our staff know so that the room may be cleaned. The cleaning has to be in the time period from 10:00 till 13:30. In case that the pet owner does not contact our staff, no cleaning of the room will be done. If you do not wish for our staff to go into the room, please make use of the “do not disturb” sign you will find in the room. However, please bear in mind that if there is any incidence, the Hotel reserves the right to allow into the room the required staff to solve it regardless of the presence of such sign.
Every owner of a pet must provide a mobile phone number and remain available so that they may be contacted when they are not in the hotel if the pet disturbs the other guests of the Hotel or if there is any problem involving the pet.
The Hotel reserves the right not to admit pets that cause a nuisance to other guests or behave inappropriately during their stay.
Only service animals or those belonging to security forces will have free access to all areas of the hotel but only while they are performing their duties. They will also be required to comply with these to be allowed admittance: the service animal must have a visible identification of their status as service animal, they must not pose a danger to any guests and/or staff, they are required to maintain a standard of cleanliness and they must not have any illness.
